GNW 15mm Project: Early steps

I have began collecting some Swedish figures to begin a 15mm Great Northern War collaboration project. For this I recently purchased an assorted starter army from Irregular Miniatures with a mixture of infantry and Cavalry and one artillery piece.

Currently I am having to decide on my final basing scheme and flag sizes. Will post more in the course of the New Year hopefully.

  1. Very nice, they look a lot better here then they do on the irregular site.

I see you have done 28mm projects. Why did you go with 15mm for this one?

    1. For both space and finances. This is essential my first proper army builder project.

  2. Was price also the reason for irregular? I'm not a mega fan of Blue moon. But some of their ranges are quite nice. But they might cost more (at least in the uk)

    1. Initially yes, I wanted to have a cost effective start to this for the time being. I might plan on branching out into some other ranges like Minifig for separate units. My collaborator and I felt that 15mm would be the most manageable scale for both of us.
